I’m Karen, a professionally trained celebrant, and I will work with you to create a unique service crafted just for you.

I am not bound by religious faith so I help you create an occasion that is totally bespoke, enabling you and those you care about to celebrate all aspects of life, love and loss. Together we will prepare a service that can be religious or secular, or I can help you to use your voice to say the words you want to be included, be it for your wedding blessing, vow renewal, funeral or another occasion.

I will meet with you and we will work together to produce the experience you want, the occasion is yours and I will be there to personally help and guide you all the way.

I asked friends, family and clients, to describe me; they came back as – caring and considerate, with a sense of fun and a hint of the ridiculous. It’s these traits that I call upon to help you achieve your perfect event, blessing or ceremony. And I start by listening. I listen to what you want and what you need in order to make it special for you and your loved ones too.

Together we will set about achieving just that. With my own mixture of compassion, care, coordination and creativity, you can now see why I‘m known as ‘C’ for Celebrant!

My previous experience in the world of PR meant I frequently needed to think on my feet, coming up with solutions at short notice. These skills, combined with those of being a wife and mother, are just a small part of what makes me a sympathetic, understanding and creative celebrant.
